Curriculum
Living in Texas, Spanish is one of the most useful modern languages for students to learn. Beyond high school and college language requirements, the ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful in everyday life, business, and evangelism.
Spanish 1 introduces students to beginning Spanish. Students will learn how to ask and answer questions in Spanish, give and follow directions, purchase items, make small talk, and present the gospel. The textbook is rich with activities to help students gain confidence with the Spanish language.
Home Studies
- The average student should plan to devote approximately 25-45 minutes four days each week to Spanish studies.
- Regular progress reports will be sent to parents.
Prerequisites
- Students grades 9-12 can successfully enter Spanish 1, but subsequent classes must be taken in sequence.
